A little about Alana Swenson (director of stuido)

My Dance Background
To introduce myself, my name is Alana Swenson. Dance has ALWAYS been a part of my life. My mom ran Parker’s Dance Palace, which was one of the largest and most reputable dance programs in Davis County. She has taught hundreds of students, and I have been taught, by example, how to dance and how to teach dance. I was so lucky to be exposed to every form of dance when I was young. I have chosen to incorporate my favorite dance genres in Felicity Dance Academy. The word Felicity means “something that brings happiness” and dance has been a great source of happiness to me throughout my life, and I am ecstatic to share the love of dance with my students. Some of my greatest dance accomplishments have been: Championship Clogger, Cheerleading Adviser at Syracuse Jr. High, President of Nationally ranked CHS Falcettes, Various pageant awards with dance being my talent, Speech and Drama Sterling Scholar. I am also a licensed teacher with the state of Utah, and I have a degree in English and Family Studies from Weber State University.
